ME AND MY
GIRL was presented in May 2002

|

|

| A Lambeth costermonger, who
unexpectedly inherits an Earl's fortune, must as a condition
marry somebody approved by his newfound stuffy
relatives.
They organise a reception
for him to meet some "appropriate" partners, but events take an
unexpected turn when his long-established girlfriend Sally arrives
-- in full cockney attire -- together with a team of Pearly Kings
and Queens performing the Lambeth Walk. |
|
| Chaos and comedy,
naturally, follow the rest of the show, which also features
other well known songs including The Sun Has Got His Hat
On, Leaning on a Lamppost and of course the title song
Me And My
Girl. | |
